First and most importantly, we hope you and your family are staying healthy and in good spirits. We are grateful for your continued support of the North Port Concert Band, Chorale and Symphony, and it's important to us that you remain up-to-date.
The North Port Performing Arts Association regrets to announce that all scheduled Band, Chorale, and Symphony concerts for November and December 2020 have been cancelled due to the Covid 19 virus. The decision was made to protect our audience, musicians, and employees from the virus. The Band, Chorale and Symphony plan to resume all concerts beginning January, 2021 as scheduled.
While the three groups deeply regret having to cancel the fall concerts, we felt we had no other options. Our number one concern is the health and safety of our audiences, musicians, and employees. It has become very clear that large groups of people will not be able to safely gather for the remainder of the calendar year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our decision to let the entire NPPAA family and our public know at this time has been our highest priority, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
Patrons who have purchased tickets for any of our November and/or December concerts will receive a refund as quickly as we are able to process the refunds. We rely on our ticketing agent to work cooperatively with us as we begin the refund process; therefore we ask for your patience in this matter.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our venue when it is safe to do so. Again, thank you for your support of the North Port Performing Arts Association. We wish you and yours continued health.
Your friends at the NPPAA
